I love traveling, yet planning a trip for your family can be the most STRESSFUL thing you can ever do. Over the past several years I have made myself CRAZY planning vacations! Why? Because half of the time, we're going to a place we've never been and I want our vacation to be the most memorable and magical trip we've ever taken! Well, maybe not magical but you know what I mean.
I have watched countless videos, purchased books, and scoured the internet to help my family plan trips that would be all those things. However, most of the time, that research has been lackluster. Most of the time, the people making these videos or creating these posts are single or early 20's-30's and don't have families to cater to or they are just looking for the next great Instagram pic. Not saying I don't want a cool IG feed, but I'd rather put the phone down and be present in the moment.
